The stock

Well having promised photos of the weathered stock in my previous post i have finally found time (a week later) to upload a few photos. These are all up for sale on eBay but hopefully just give a sample of the kind of stuff i can do.

Having built a new diorama to photo them on i realised i didnt have a background! So had to quickly run off a few sheets of A4 and position them the best i could. Eventually i will get a proper background printed much larger but it had to suffice for then.

A selection of wagons taken against my new diorama:

The locos were done using a new technique i have adapted after reading a few hints tips etc and have to say im very impressed with it. I have used the technique before when starting off however a few years down the line and with much more experience under my belt a return to the technique has worked wonders on the locos i hope.

Poor paint adhesion was a problem for alot of locos and perhaps a few too many times through the washer was the effect i was going for on this batch.

As can be seen on the InterCity 37 above the paintwork has been chipped and scuffed etc to appear thoroughly workworn. I wont make this post too picture heavy but hopefully you can see how from humble beinnings a couple of posts ago a pristine boxed engine can look dirtier grubbied and weathered... courtesy of The Weathering Works.  (Shameless Plug)

P.S I am currently setting up my Flickr site for photos so keep checking back as more and more get uploaded!
